Dice Society

Rich is wondering whether they should change direction and maybe pretend to be French robots, or something.

I’m pretty sure they’re not going to leave it sounding like that.

This was possibly a mistake, I was running a bit late on my lunch-break, and didn’t have time to pop into the studio to film an update, so I left the camera with the band. You might think this footage is bad, you should see the stuff I had to edit out, it was terrible.

The guys in Dice Society dicuss what their new track needs. The clue is in the title, really…

I catch up with the band during a rather hungover recording session…

It’s been one of those things that has been mildly annoying as the Dice Society’s ‘web -designer’ or whatever, is we have never really settled on what the site should look like. Once again, the look has been changed, but thankfully it is a wordpress blog and not something I have to code by hand like the last 3 websites….

Anyway – new look, new photos, actually some new posts from the guys in the band. Well, from one of the guys in the band, once.  It’s a start.

well just to keep Andy happy I thought I’d better have a go with wordpress, let’s see how I get on!

We had a good weekends music this weekend, beers and vodka were good too! Got some new ideas down, something funky and something floyd esq. I’ll stick some demos on myspace after our next get together so people can have a listen.

I think.. I’m fairly sure about this… that I’ve finally got through to the guys from Dice Society what needs to be done on this site. The confusion between Last.FM and WordPress.com seems to be cleared up. Their confusion between bandcamp.com and last.fm also seem to be fixed. The concept of writing 150 words about that week’s recording session and posting it here has sunk in. Well, I think it has. It can’t have sunk in that far as they still haven’t bloody posted anything.

Guys, the last post (which was mine) was 3 months ago. That’s 3 months. And photos with the post too, thanks. And then maybe I’ll finish the site for you.

Richard was *so*excited to get his new mixer, he was leaping around the room and acting like an insane man, as pictured here

I’ve been trying to get my Behringer mixer back from Rich for some time now, so I was excited to hear that Joe was donating his old mixer to the Bootsy Towers studio.  This was before I saw the bleeding thing. The Behringer is slightly smaller thatn your average mousemat. This new mixer is slightly smaller than your average sideboard. And utilises, as far as i can tell, stone-age technology. I have no idea where this is going in Rich’s room, there’s not enough space for all the bass guitars, ashtrays, emtpy cans and general shite as it is.
